Job Title: Materials Testing Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess 4-7 years of experience in Foundry/Metallurgical Quality Control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raw Material Inspection: Conduct quality checks for materials such as pig iron, CRC scrap, ferroalloys, and other additives to ensure compliance with process specifications.
  • Sand Testing and Evaluation: Regularly test Green Sand, No Bake Sand, and Neno Sand to verify conformity to technical requirements.
  • Chemical Analysis: Monitor and analyze ductile iron parameters including %C (Carbon), %Si (Silicon), %Mn (Manganese), %P (Phosphorus), %S (Sulfur), %Mg (Magnesium), %Al (Aluminum), and %VM (Volatile Matter).
  • Hardness & Mechanical Testing: Conduct and evaluate Brinell/Rockwell hardness tests as part of the quality control process.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in foundry or material testing lab.
