Job Title: Associate Director

At the forefront of our organization stands a pivotal role, that of an Associate Director. This position serves as a linchpin in driving financial reporting and treasury initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with IPO readiness and investor-grade reporting capabilities across our businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the preparation of timely, accurate, and compliant statutory and management reports under Indian GAAP and IND-AS.
  • Lead quarterly and annual financial statement preparations, collaborating closely with internal and external auditors to ensure audit readiness.
  • Serve as the technical accounting subject matter expert, assessing and implementing new accounting standards while guaranteeing proper disclosures.
  • Drive the adoption of IPO-aligned reporting practices, including consolidated entity reporting, regulatory filings, and restatements.
  • Forge strong partnerships with FP&A, business finance, and investor relations teams to synchronize internal and external reporting frameworks.
  • Develop and scale internal SOPs, reporting templates, and close calendars for group-wide implementation.
  • Establish effective communication channels with external advisors, valuation experts, and consultants to ensure alignment with industry benchmarks.

Requirements:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Significant exposure to complex technical accounting areas, including revenue recognition and ESOP accounting.
  • Prior experience in a pre-IPO or listed company is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with auditors and senior leadership.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with IPO filing processes or working with Big 4 auditors.
  • The ability to lead small teams while being hands-on when needed.
