Accounting Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical individual to lead our accounting functions.

You will be responsible for overseeing all financial transactions, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining robust financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll accounting.
  • Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and tax laws.
  • Lead and support internal and external audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights to management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within the accounting department.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
  • Perform complex account reconciliations and in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including TDS, GST, and income tax filings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Indian GAAP, Ind AS) and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven experience with accounting software (SAP, Oracle Financials) and MS Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting; CA/CMA qualification is highly preferred.
