Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Azure Security Strategist to lead our security efforts in the cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions in Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end security architectures in Azure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and reviews of Azure environments, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations to enhance overall security posture.
  • Develop and enforce comprehensive security standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistency across all Azure deployments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Cyber Defense team to respond to security incidents and events related to Azure.
  • Work with development teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless delivery of secure applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure security features, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, VPNs, Azure RBAC, SSO with SAML and/or OIDC, and other security technologies.
  • Experience with managing Azure service principals, Graph API permissions, and other relevant security controls.
  • Proven track record of drafting technical standards, operational processes, and support documentation for complex security environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
