Job Description:
  • Administer databases with expertise, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and maintaining data integrity through best practices and access control policies.
  • Conduct thorough capacity planning and performance tuning to optimize database performance, minimize downtime, and ensure business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration
    • Manage database development, administration, and maintenance solutions to prevent downtime and resolve complex issues related to database administration.
  • Backup and Recovery Strategies
    • Design and implement robust backup strategies to minimize data loss and develop disaster recovery strategies for business continuity.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to database administration, manage database maintenance solutions, and enhance system visibility using monitoring and support tools.
Requirements:
  • At least 2+ years of experience in database development in a large enterprise environment with expertise in administering Intersystems IRIS/Cache (Ensemble).
  • Understanding of database design, data modeling, and integrating IRIS with ETL/BI software.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems (ServiceNow) and release management systems (Azure DevOps).
