Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. This is a high-profile role that will involve working closely with senior developers to design, implement and maintain complex databases.

The successful candidate will have experience in database administration, including locking, process blocking, and performance tuning. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining high availability architectures, as well as managing backup and restoration processes.

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and maintain complex databases
  • Work closely with senior developers to ensure seamless delivery of projects
  • Develop and deploy new database objects and changes to existing database objects
  • Manage infrastructure to prevent potential issues and mitigate damage from incidents
  • Handle support tickets and provide backup to peers when needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced understanding of relational database architecture and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of SSMS, SSRS and support tooling
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL, Stored Procedures and day-to-day DB functions
  • Experience with Always On High Availability Groups
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
