Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in cloud-native application development, containerization, and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS core services, modern container technologies, and scripting for automation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-availability applications on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
  • Developing scripts and automation tools using Python and Bash to streamline deployments, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
  • Implementing backend microservices and APIs in GoLang for performance-intensive use cases.
  • Collaborating with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI), ensuring smooth code integration and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience
  • AWS Expertise: Minimum 2- 3 years hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation/Terraform).
  • Container Technologies: Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
  • Scripting: Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
  • Microservices Development: Exposure to GoLang for backend API/microservice development.
  • CICD Tools: Experience integrating with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Terrafom: Experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
  • AWS Security: Knowledge of AWS security best practices.
  • Monitoring Tools: Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
