We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer who can design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in SQL, Python, and/or other programming languages for data processing and manipulation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Data Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure efficient and accurate data processing.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement Data Models: Implement data models and schemas to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.
  • Optimize Data Processing: Optimize data processing and storage solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation, monitoring, and error handling mechanisms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven 3+ years' experience as a data engineer or similar role.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or other programming languages for data processing and manipulation.
  • Database Experience: Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts.
  • Distributed Computing: Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and cloud-based data platforms.
  • ETL/ELT Processes: Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data validation, and data security best practices.
  • Version Control: Experience in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
