Web Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Data Scientist to join our team. As a Web Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web scraping solutions to extract structured and unstructured data from various websites and APIs.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, and Pandas for data scraping and processing. You will also work with APIs to gather and integrate data, ensuring proper rate limits and authentication handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Extraction: Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data extraction workflows using web scraping technologies.
  • Data Processing: Use tools like Python, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, and Pandas for data scraping and processing.
  • API Integration: Work with APIs to gather and integrate data, ensuring proper rate limits and authentication handling.
  • Cleanliness and Storage: Clean, preprocess, and store extracted data in databases (SQL) or cloud-based systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in web scraping and data extraction.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, experience with web scraping frameworks and libraries, and familiarity with API integration.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
