Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps Platform Engineering and expertise in GitLab to GitHub migration. They should be proficient in managing infrastructure upgrades and dependencies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) configuration during migration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building sophisticated solutions and tools to facilitate the migration of GitLab, TeamCity, and Octopus environments to GitHub Enterprise on Cloud (GHEC). This includes developing a solution/tool to migrate source code repositories (including branches, history, issues, pull requests) and mapping users between GitLab and GHEC.

They will also work on migrating GitLab/TeamCity/Octopus pipelines to GitHub Workflows/Actions, ensuring seamless migration of critical assets and pipelines while managing infrastructure, security, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Migrate source code repositories and map users between GitLab and GHEC.
  • Develop solutions to manage infrastructure upgrades and dependencies using IaC.
  • Migrate GitLab/TeamCity/Octopus pipelines to GitHub Workflows/Actions.
  • Ensure pipeline security for robust and compliant operations.
  • Configure SCA, SAST, and DAST tools for enhanced security.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in DevOps Platform Engineering.
  • Expertise in GitLab to GitHub migration.
  • Proficiency in managing infrastructure upgrades and dependencies using IaC.
  • Strong experience with GitLab, TeamCity, and Octopus pipelines.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
  • Knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud environments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
  • Proven experience in a senior DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
