Seeking a seasoned Data Migration Expert to lead our team in complex SAP data conversion and migration projects.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in designing, building, and deploying ETL solutions using BODS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance optimization, understanding CDS views as sources for data extraction, and experience working with legacy systems like SAP or various databases.

The successful candidate will lead the team in data migration and conversion activities, identify SAP data migration as-is processes and to-be processes, and write technical specifications/configuration/testing documents. Additionally, they will coordinate with business or functional teams on ERP business processes and data used for loading.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP data conversion and migration projects.
  • Experience working in ETL/Reporting/Business Intelligence applications, with a strong focus on SAP BODS.
  • Expertise in data profiling, data cleansing, and data remediation.
  • Functional knowledge in FICO, SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, HCM, VC, EWM modules.
  • Strong working skills with SQL query tools, entity relationship models, SAP data models, database relationships, primary, and foreign key relationships.
  • End-to-end SAP data migration project experience.
  • Data validation, verification, and cleansing skills using various tools.
  • SQL performance tuning and monitoring expertise.
  • Ability to read and write complex SQL statements, including multi-table joins, nested queries, and correlated subqueries.
  • Familiarity with hyperscalers like Azure, AWS, Google, Alibaba, and SAP.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based products such as SAP, Salesforce, Ariba, and others.
  • Bonus points for experience in Data Science, Python, AI/ML.
