Job Description:
As a Senior Director of Design, you will lead our design team and drive the holistic design vision for our products. You will ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.

Your key responsibilities will include defining and driving design strategy, leading and mentoring a team of product designers, and engaging in early client and presales discussions to shape design strategy.

You will also establish and streamline design operations to improve consistency, collaboration, efficiency, and quality across teams in a vision-driven environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.


Required Skills:
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a track record of using data to inform design decisions.
  • Excellent relationship management skills working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex design concepts and strategies to various audiences.
