As a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and edge computing technologies, you will be responsible for architecting and deploying edge clusters across distributed environments.

  • Design and deploy scalable Kubernetes-based edge clusters across geographically dispersed locations.
  • Integrate shared storage solutions using Rook.io and manage persistent volumes across edge nodes.
  • Implement control plane management using Kosmotron for multi-cluster Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Extend Kubernetes capabilities to edge devices using KubeEdge for real-time device communication.
  • Deploy and manage workloads on Google Cloud GKE for centralized analytics and cloud-native services.
  • Leverage edge node coordination and data synchronization using CloudCore.

Job Requirements:

  • GCP Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with GKE, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.
  • Containerization: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, Helm, and Deployment Manager.
  • DevOps Practices: CI/CD, GitOps, automated testing, and release management.
  • Security: IAM, VPC design, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java for automation and cloud-native development.
