Project Coordinator Role
At Cummins Inc., we are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to support our project teams in delivering high-quality results. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by providing administrative support, coordinating tasks, and communicating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and controlling project activities, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, track, and resolve project issues in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.
- Status Monitoring: Monitor project progress, communicate status updates to the project team, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Budget and Research Assistance: Assist with budget planning, tracking, and research, providing input into project plans and timelines.
- Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks, using quality tools to assess and prioritize risks.
- Documentation: Document project learnings, best practices, and lessons learned, sharing with other teams to enhance project success.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate project records, databases, and notes, monitoring project measures and communicating with the Project Manager.
Requirements:
- Education: College or university degree required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in project coordination or a related field.

- Project Scope Management: Manage project deliverables, ensuring scope includes all required work.
