The role involves performing load calculations, selecting equipment, designing duct and piping systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Design heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems.">
  • Perform heat and cooling load calculations using software like HAP, Trace 700, or Carrier E-20.">
  • Select and size HVAC equipment based on project requirements.">
  • Design ductwork and piping layouts, and control systems using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.">
  • Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local building codes.">
  • Perform energy efficiency analysis and optimize HVAC systems for cost and sustainability.">
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors for system integration.">
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project approvals.">
  • Assist in tendering, cost estimation, and bid evaluations for HVAC systems.">
  • Support project execution by providing technical guidance during installation and commissioning.">

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.">
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.">
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Trace 700, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier E-20).">
  • Strong knowledge of duct and pipe sizing, psychrometrics, and refrigeration cycles.">
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and other HVAC standards.">
  • Experience in energy modeling and sustainable HVAC system design.">
  • Ability to troubleshoot HVAC system performance issues.">
