Job Opportunity: HVAC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thermal load assessments and cooling load estimations in accordance with ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards.
  • Select and design chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handling units, fan coil units, VRV/VRF systems, and other HVAC equipment.
  • Create detailed HVAC system layouts (ducting, piping, controls) using AutoCAD / Revit software.
  • Develop bills of quantities, technical specifications, design reports, tender documents, and equipment data sheets.
  • Coordinate with clients and consultants to manage documentation, submittals, and approvals.
  • Collaborate with MEP teams (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), architects, and contractors for project integration.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and conduct technical appraisals.
  • Support value engineering initiatives, energy efficiency enhancements, and system optimization.
  • Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning stages.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-8 years of experience in MEP and HVAC design engineering.
  • Prior exposure to commercial, industrial, healthcare, and large infrastructure projects is beneficial.
  • Certification from ASHRAE/ISHRAE is an added advantage.
