About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiologist to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs, conducting cutting-edge research, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Education: Deliver lectures, seminars, and case-based sessions on topics such as cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology of heart diseases, and cardiovascular pharmacotherapy.
  • Research: Conduct and publish research in areas such as cardiovascular pharmacology and therapeutics, epidemiology of heart diseases, and clinical trials of cardiovascular drugs or interventions.
  • Clinical/Pharma Collaboration (optional/role-dependent): Collaborate with cardiology departments in teaching hospitals for practical training, liaise with pharmaceutical companies on cardiovascular drug development and clinical trials, and participate in CME activities.
  • Administrative Duties: Participate in departmental activities, curriculum design, and quality assurance, serve on institutional committees, and assist in organizing academic events.

Qualifications

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • MBBS with MD/DNB in Cardiology or Internal Medicine, or M.Pharm/Pharm.D with specialization in Cardiovascular Pharmacology.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences or related fields, experience in teaching and clinical supervision, and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
