Job Title: Electrical Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of various electronics and electrical components, as well as the ability to design, test, and develop efficient engineering solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods and performing thorough analysis.
  • Work on obsolescence activities, including qualifying replacements, testing, and documentation.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions.
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that can be developed into detailed drawings for manufacturing.
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout the different phases of design and development.

Key Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  • A master's degree is preferred, along with 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to work with US-based timings.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.
  • Able to select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical/system-level thinking.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience working on part lifecycle management and change orders using PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of electronic components obsolescence.
  • Understanding of PCB and components.
  • Hands-on experience testing electronics components (bench-level test and system-level test).
  • Experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
