Job Overview

Executive Underwriting Position Available

We are seeking a seasoned underwriter to join our team and leverage their expertise in analyzing risk factors associated with businesses. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing business risk factors to provide informed underwriting decisions.
  • Customizing policies by adding or removing covers, riders, or endorsements to meet client needs.
  • Collaborating with underwriters at various insurance companies to obtain quotes and underwriting decisions.
  • Ensuring timely approvals, reinsurance support (as required), and final underwriting clearance for clients.
  • Verifying all necessary documents from clients, including KYC, proposal forms, declarations, etc.
  • Staying up-to-date on underwriting norms, product circulars, and compliance requirements.
  • Clearly communicating underwriting requirements, terms, exclusions, and conditions to clients.
  • Providing underwriting guidance and clarifications to the sales team to facilitate smooth policy issuance.
  • Addressing client queries related to risk approvals or policy issuance delays in a prompt and professional manner.
