Market Risk Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk professional to join our team. As a Market Risk professional, you will play a vital role in managing specialized risk management functions within our Enterprise Risk Management practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing policies and guidelines for enhanced monitoring of Treasury/Investment/ALM/Liquidity risk.
  • Valuating Treasury portfolios, including Forex, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity, and other assets.
  • Providing independent mid-office monitoring support on NOP, Fixed income, FIG, Derivatives, limit monitoring, etc.
  • Monitoring hedge effectiveness on a periodic basis.
  • Implementing and calculating Capital charge and Counterparty Risk Charge.
  • Conducting technical analysis of Equities, Bonds, and Money market funds.
  • Performing limit monitoring for treasury activities as prescribed in Internal and regulatory policies.
  • Reconciling MTM with counterparty banks for derivatives deals undertaken and making/responding to margin calls in terms of CSA arrangement.
  • Preparing Regulatory and internal daily and periodical reports and Board notes on accurate and timely submission.
  • Enhancing methodologies for counterpart credit risk measures like PFE, CVA, etc.

Liquidity Risk and ALM

You will be responsible for monitoring and simulating LCR/NSFR. You will also monitor and report on Maturity of ALM products and implement limit setting for MAL/SAL using statistical modelling techniques. Additionally, you will generate Interest rate risk on bank's book basis IRRBB or via Sensitivity Report analysis like NII and EVE.

Your skills and qualifications should include:

  • A good understanding of Behavioral studies of ALM products.
  • Implementation experience of ALM/Market Risk system from end to end.
  • Pricing/Hedging of banking products across asset classes (Rates, FX, Bonds).
  • Well-versed with Stress testing of Liquidity and Interest rate risk.
  • ICAAP, RAROC, FTP methodologies, RAS will be preferable.
