Job Title: Technical Cloud Data Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Cloud Data Engineering Manager to lead the migration of our on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouse to a modern cloud-based data platform.

  • Manage and oversee the design, development, and implementation of cloud-native data platform solutions using Azure Cloud and Snowflake.
  • Develop and guide the engineering team in designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines and workflows using modern technologies on Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Implement and manage DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Git Actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a Cloud Data Engineering role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or technical delivery role.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud data tools (Azure Data Factory, Self-hosted Integration Runtime, Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Blob Storage), Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Strong experience in developing cloud-native ETLs and data pipelines using modern technologies on Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD practices using Git Actions.
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
