Energy Transition Mechanical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of sustainable solutions in the energy transition field.

  • Support the development of comparative analyses of technologies and suppliers in the energy transition sector.
  • Stay updated on market trends in equipment and systems for energy transition products.
  • Provide key support in offer development and feasibility, conceptual, and basic engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A professional background in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of engineering experience, preferably related to the design of industrial process plants.
  • General knowledge of industrial process plants (specific knowledge of main equipment for methanol, ammonia, and air separation plants is an asset).
  • Technical knowledge of low-carbon hydrogen and carbon dioxide production, purification, compression, and storage processes.
  • Electrolysis equipment for H2 production.
  • General knowledge of pressure vessel, storage tank, and rotating equipment design.
  • General knowledge of international standards for plant and process equipment design.
  • Fluent English (mandatory).
  • Availability for occasional travel.
