Job Overview:
The organization is seeking a professional to lead the capture lifecycle, driving growth through qualifying and capturing new business in both public and private sectors.
">- Develop teaming, pricing, and proposal strategies with the goal of securing contracts and expanding the company's presence in these markets.
Key Responsibilities:
The Capture Manager will perform all activities related to the capture lifecycle, including developing strategies, evaluating market opportunities, and coordinating with stakeholders to prepare for procurements. Key tasks include:
">- Reviewing and qualifying RFIs and RFPs
- Driving the proposal process from start to finish
- Preparing written proposals by developing concepts, gathering information, and writing drafts
- Maintaining reference databases for technical, management, and past performance
- Conducting after-action reviews and documenting lessons learned
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
">- Capture-related experience in Federal or State procurements
- A solid track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with an understanding of cost and financials
- Knowledge of GSA and other Federal Schedules
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. English, Journalism, Communications)
Skills and Abilities:
Candidates should have impeccable attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion. Additionally, they should be able to meet planned and unplanned deadlines, possess a great attitude and passion for delivering high-quality work, and demonstrate a high-energy and competitive nature that drives results and personal accountability.
