Key Expert for Full-Stack Development

Our organization is searching for a highly skilled and seasoned full-stack developer to play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our web applications. This expert should be well-versed in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases, with excellent expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing web applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails framework, PostgreSQL, and/or MySQL databases, including schema design, advanced SQL querying, and performance tuning. They should also have solid knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end frameworks, as well as proficiency with version control systems like Git.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Working extensively with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, including designing database schemas, writing efficient SQL queries, and optimizing database performance.
  • Building and maintaining RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the application and other services or clients.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to Rails conventions and industry best practices, and participating in code reviews to ensure high standards.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure reliability and quality of the application.
  • Performing in-depth troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution for complex problems within the application and database interactions.
  • Identifying and implementing solutions to optimize application performance, database queries, and overall system scalability.
  • Assisting in deployment and maintenance of web applications in production environments.
  • Collaborating closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, quality assurance engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Expertise in Ruby on Rails framework, PostgreSQL, and/or MySQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end frameworks.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to software challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
