Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Application Monitoring Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of various applications.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Setup and configuration of Dynatrace for application monitoring.
- Troubleshooting user issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Identifying recurring issues and ensuring long-term fixes.
- Setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications.
- Define and fine-tune alerts.
- Integrate Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling.
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
- Analyzing and optimizing application code with respect to error handling and alerting.
- Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to work effectively with diverse teams, creating a cooperative environment where ideas and solutions are shared openly.
- Project management "light" skills to follow up on tasks, ensure timely completion and efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Sense of accuracy (in monitoring configuration).
- Able to provide support and training to application teams with varying levels of technical expertise.
