About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a Tax Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that our business operations comply with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Your primary responsibility will be to confirm the tax registration and compliance status of third-party sellers on our platforms, provide transactional data to tax authorities, and manage access to Amazon marketplaces based on tax compliance status and requests from tax authorities.

You will also assist with tax registrations across various jurisdictions and respond to tax compliance queries from Amazon businesses operating across Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our VAT Compliance & Controllership team to ensure seamless integration of tax compliance activities across our business operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial systems, technical accounting awareness, and experience working with Microsoft Excel at an advanced level. You will be able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and data security standards, communicate complex issues effectively, and demonstrate flexibility to work in different tasks with increased complexity based on current business needs.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be proactive, self-disciplined, and diligent, with a strong ability to analyze problems logically and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills and interpersonal skills
