Business Consultant Position

About our company is not important for this role. Our team of professionals is seeking an experienced Business Consultant to join their ranks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and a proven track record of success in transaction advisory services.

  • Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
  • Perform financial due diligence on behalf of middle market companies and private equity firms.
  • Aggregate, manipulate, and analyze company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends.
  • Write detailed reports to present diligence findings to clients.
  • Work directly with Management and Managing Directors to advise clients on how to maximize opportunities and minimize risks related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks.
  • Interface with senior executives of clients and target companies.
  • Display ability to manage team responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
  • Work on multiple projects and develop relationships with current and prospective clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of applicable work experience including experience in audit or transaction advisory services.
  • Licensed CPA/equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
  • Possess an uncommon drive and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize assignments.
  • Proficiency in excel and technology.
