Design for Test Lead

This is a senior-level position responsible for driving the design for test strategy for complex digital ICs.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in DFT concepts, scripting languages, and experience working with Synopsis TetraMax/DFTMax and Cadence Encounter Test.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement DFT concepts to ensure high-quality testing and diagnosis of defects.
  • Design and optimize scan insertion, ATPG, coverage analysis, and transition delay test coverage analysis.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate MBIST insertion and memory test validation into the design process.
  • Expertly define test mode timing constraints and provide corrective actions for timing violations.
  • Script in languages such as Perl, Shell, etc. to automate testing tasks.
  • Analyze RTL and gate-level simulations of scan and MBIST test vectors to identify and resolve issues.
  • Verify equivalence check and DFT DRC rules using RTL lint tools like Spyglass and ATPG tools like TetraMax.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in DFT concepts and scripting languages.
  • Experience working with Synopsis TetraMax/DFTMax and Cadence Encounter Test.
  • Strong understanding of digital IC design and testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
