SAP Treasury Consultant Opportunity

This is a challenging role for an experienced SAP Treasury consultant to lead and deliver SAP Treasury transformation projects.

The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to implement and optimize SAP solutions. The scope of work and expertise determine the deployment as project lead, solution lead, or individual contributor in a client-facing assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Implementation: Designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Treasury solutions, including Transaction Manager, Risk Analyzer, Hedge Management, Cash Management, Bank integration, and Financial Accounting.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into effective SAP solutions.
  • Integration: Integrating SAP TRM with other SAP modules (like FI/CO) and external financial systems.
  • Best Practices: Providing expert advice on SAP Treasury best practices.
  • Testing and Training: Conducting workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to SAP Treasury functionality.
  • Documentation: Developing and maintaining documentation, including functional specifications and process flows.
  • Support: Post-go-live business support and handover to the standing organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Education: CA/Master's in Finance from a reputable institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' work experience as an SAP Treasury consultant with one end-to-end SAP Treasury implementation.
  • SAP TRM Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP Treasury, including Transaction Manager, Risk Analyzer, Hedge Management, Cash Management, In-house Cash, and Banking.
  • SAP FI/CO Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP FI/CO modules and their integration with Treasury.
  • Business Process Knowledge: Understanding of treasury operations, financial markets, and risk management principles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP configuration, data migration, and testing methodologies. Ability to write clear and detailed Functional Design Specifications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to understand, document, prioritize tasks, and report any critical risks/issues.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Domain experience in Treasury.
  • Certifications in Treasury.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • SAP end-user experience.
  • SAP FSCM – Credit Management experience.
