Job Title: Plant Quality Head

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee all quality assurance and control processes at our manufacturing facility.

This role requires a strong understanding of industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing quality management systems, monitoring and controlling quality processes, and leading teams to achieve quality objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
  • Monitor and control quality processes across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
  • Lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, BIS) and customer-specific requirements.
  • Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
  • Oversee testing procedures, including dielectric tests, temperature rise tests, and short-circuit withstand tests, to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Identify potential quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate them.
  • Conduct training programs for employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the LV electrical panel or similar electrical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of LV electrical panel design, manufacturing processes, and testing standards.
  • Expertise in QMS, Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Proficiency in quality tools like FMEA, Pareto charts, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
