Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end revenue accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely recognition in compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and practical application in complex contract scenarios. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, legal, and sales teams.

  • Manage Revenue Accounting Processes: Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in compliance with industry standards.
  • Review Contracts and Agreements: Determine appropriate revenue treatment, including multi-element arrangements and variable considerations.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Assess deal structures and ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Maintain revenue schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations for month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Analyze Revenue Data: Support financial reporting and audit readiness by analyzing deferred revenue, billing schedules, and revenue forecasts.
Requirements:

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in revenue accounting or revenue recognition, preferably in a SaaS, technology, or services environment.

Qualifications: CPA or CA qualification, strong understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15, and proficiency in ERP systems and revenue sub-ledgers or modules.

Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and reconciliations, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
