Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead our data engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data models that meet the needs of our business users.

Your primary focus will be on working with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for data-driven insights, and develop scalable solutions to extract, transform, and load data into our enterprise data warehouse.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models to designing and implementing dimensional and fact tables. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to translate business information needs into well-defined data requirements, ensuring timely completion and availability of data in the data warehouse for reporting use.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or data integration
  • Expertise in GCP & Google BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Function, and GCS
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
