Automation Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to design, develop and deploy automated solutions using Python and Ansible. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automated Solutions Design and Development: Develop automated solutions for repetitive tasks using Python and Ansible to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement efficient solutions.
  • Scripting and Troubleshooting: Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and troubleshoot issues related to automation and scripting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Automation Technologies: 8+ years of experience in automation technologies, including Python, Ansible, and Docker.
  • Mission-Critical Environments: Expertise in managing incident/change/problem management in mission-critical environments.
  • Storage Technologies: Experience with Fiber Channel SAN technologies, including VMAX, VNX, HP 3par, Cisco, and Brocade.
  • Array-Based Replications: Expert knowledge of SRDF and array-based replications.
  • Fabric Refresh Planning: Hands-on experience with fabric refresh planning, execution, and cutover processes in both Cisco and Brocade.
Benefits:
  • Experience with API Integration: Experience with API integration, especially Storage APIs.
  • Knowledge of Host-Based ACLs: Knowledge of host-based/SRDF migrations, array migrations, and setting up host-based ACLs.
  • Decommissioning Processes: Hands-on experience with decommissioning processes of all the above SAN technologies.
  • File Storage Systems: Experience with Isilon and CDOT file storage and NAS migration at large scales.
Nice to Have:
  • Broadcom Switches: Experience with Broadcom Brocade G620, G720, 7840 department class and Gen 6 and Gen 7 director class switches.
  • Flash Storage Systems: Experience with solid-state drives (SSDs) and flash storage systems.
