Job Role:

The position of Benefits Consultant is centered around collaborating with the HR team to configure, maintain and enhance the benefits module within Oracle Fusion HCM. Ideal candidates should possess 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically in the benefits domain.

Candidates will be responsible for modifying/configuring and maintaining benefits plans, programs, rates, and eligibility profiles. They will also support open enrollment and life event processing, develop and troubleshoot fast formulas, HCM extracts, and HDL data loads, build and maintain BI Publisher reports and OTBI dashboards, collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate data flow and compliance, manage Oracle SRs, and coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Modify/Configure and maintain Benefits plans, programs, rates, and eligibility profiles
  • Support Open Enrollment and Life Event processing
  • Develop and troubleshoot Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and HDL data loads
  • Build and maintain BI Publisher reports and OTBI dashboards
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate data flow and compliance
  • Manage Oracle SRs and coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, with at least 3 in Benefits
  • Understanding of Benefits setup, eligibility rules, and enrollment flows
  • Proficiency in building/modifying Extracts, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, HDL, and Fast Formulas
  • Experience with HCM Extracts and third-party integrations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) or Agile practices
