**Job Title:** Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced systems engineer to join our platform engineering observability team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure, including virtual instances, storage solutions, network configurations, databases, and application functions.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer platforms to enhance user productivity, focusing on identity management and workspace solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to streamline pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to our infrastructure.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service, and software-as-a-service.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
