Job Description

As a finance leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

You will have end-to-end ownership of general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes. Additionally, you will manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards, managing general ledger entries, reconciliations, and close the books at the end of each month and year, oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CA qualification, and minimum 3 years of experience in accounting. Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel is also required.

Additionally, strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills are necessary for success in this role. A deep understanding of GST regulations and tax compliance is also essential.
