Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Job Overview

This is a challenging role for an experienced software engineer who can drive innovation and improve our cloud-based systems. As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud applications using modern technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality cloud-based software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality of our software applications.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and incorporate them into our systems.
  • Work closely with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of our applications.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Good understanding of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with domain-driven design (DDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of OAuth token-based authentication protocol.
  • Understanding of microservice design and architectural patterns.
