About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Strategy Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining forecasts on key non-financial metrics and providing strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining forecasts on key non-financial metrics, extracting key insights from reports received and providing overlays on strategic recommendations.
  • Gathering, managing, and consolidating internal datasets and external data based on project requirements.
  • Drafting a bi-weekly industry activity newsletter for senior management.
  • Supporting intelligence lead in drafting thought leadership pieces for senior leaders on specific areas, peers, and upcoming regulations.
  • Owning workstreams in projects and acting as an expert in data visualization.
  • Analysing investment budgets and insights across different themes.

To excel in this role, you'll need experience of working in a strategy or consulting role in a financial services firm and helping stakeholders with a wide range of needs. You'll bring strong research experience, as well as PowerPoint presentation skills. Additionally, you'll need at least six years of experience in strategy consulting roles with a strong focus on research, ideally within the financial services domain.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong academic background, including a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Strategic planning and insight generation experience.
  • Experience of coordinating and working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel programming skills, with a technical and analytical mindset.
  • Sound knowledge of economic and financial markets databases.
