Lead Data Engineer for Advanced Analytics

Key Analytics Position

The incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving self-service analytics, integrating AI and machine learning insights, and ensuring a scalable data environment that empowers stakeholders with timely, accurate, and future-ready analytics.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide BI/reporting support across SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL jobs and data refresh processes.
  • Enhance performance and usability of dashboards and reports.
  • Standardize reusable data assets to enable self-service analytics.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to embed AI/ML-driven insights into analytics delivery.
  • Balance support of current infrastructure with continuous innovation in advanced analytics.
  • Provide day-to-day production support of analytics platforms, ensuring up time, data accuracy, and SLA adherence.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents, including failures, data refresh issues, and user access related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in BI tools: SSRS, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server query optimization and tuning.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and data warehouse schema design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and stakeholder communication.
  • Exposure to AI/ML model integration in analytics workflows is highly desirable.
