Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Assistant Sampling Co-ordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the sampling process from initial design concept to final production, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and understand buyer requirements to create accurate prototypes and samples
  • Source suitable fabrics, trims, threads, and accessories that meet client specifications
  • Coordinate with various departments including merchandising, fabrics, and accessories to ensure seamless sample creation and distribution
  • Work closely with pattern makers to develop accurate designs and samples within tight deadlines
  • Plan, execute, and follow up on shipments of samples to buyers
  • Collaborate with sourcing and merchandising teams to identify new product opportunities and optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Attend weekly reviews with senior management to discuss sampling forecasts and progress

Requirements:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
