Research Associate - Climate Change Policy

At the forefront of climate change research, we seek a highly skilled Research Associate to contribute to our team's efforts in developing innovative solutions for global challenges.

  • This role is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team of experts and thought leaders in the field of climate change policy.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and data analysis to support the development of high-quality reports, policy papers, and discussion papers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct rigorous research and data analysis on focus areas, including climate change mitigation strategies and their implementation.
  • Report Development: Lead and contribute to analytical research reports, policy papers, discussion papers, and articles that showcase expertise and promote evidence-based decision-making.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects and discussions, ensuring timely completion and effective coordination among team members.
  • Collaboration and Networking: Establish partnerships with industry stakeholders and academics to enhance CRF's events and communication efforts.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Search, review, and summarize published literature; supervise interns or personnel on research tasks; assist manuscript development; prepare reports and presentations.
  • Event Organization: Organize seminars, workshops, and events; moderate academic discussions and policy dialogues.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in a relevant field (engineering, energy economics, etc.) or PhD preferred.
  • Experience: 13+ years of work experience in research and analysis.
  • Skills: Strong research and analytical skills; econometric models, data analysis tools, proficiency in research software, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Publishing: Authored at least 2 scholarly research publications in the last five years.
