Senior Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Specialist to oversee all accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry and Management: Process data/transactions entry on the system, reconcile accounts with the general ledger, and consider accruals and provisions.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyse financial information, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP and/or IFRS, and ensure completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Tax Compliance: File VAT and Tax returns, ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements including GST, TDS, corporate tax filings, and MCA reporting.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate and support external audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Expertise in maintaining financial records in compliance with local Indian GAAP, tax regulations, and IFRS (if applicable).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Perform variance analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and government bodies as needed.
