Job Opportunity

A leading Geographic Information System (GIS) software company is seeking a skilled Geospatial Data Science Engineer to develop innovative data science solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in machine learning, data science, and AI, with strong knowledge of Python, PyTorch, and Jupyter Notebooks. They will work closely with customers to understand their needs and create tailored analytics systems using ESRI products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to understand their requirements and design data-driven solutions
  • Build high-quality analytics systems that address business challenges using data mining, statistics, and machine learning techniques
  • Perform feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter optimization to achieve high predictive accuracy
  • Deploy models to production in a cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environment
  • Implement best practices and patterns for geospatial machine learning and develop reusable technical components
  • Integrate ArcGIS with popular deep learning libraries such as PyTorch

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of practical machine learning experience or applicable academic/lab work
  • Proven data science and AI skills with Python, PyTorch, and Jupyter Notebooks
  • Experience in building and optimizing supervised and unsupervised machine learning models, including deep learning and modern data science techniques
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: computer vision, convolutional neural networks, transformer models, 3D deep learning, and mathematical concepts
