Position: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

We design plumbing systems for projects including domestic water, sanitary, storm water, hot water, gas systems etc.

  • We perform calculations as directed by senior engineers.
  • We design and develop plumbing system layouts, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
HVAC Design/BIM:

We conduct heat load calculations using tools like HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) to determine heating and cooling requirements for buildings.

  • We design HVAC systems including water-cooled and air-cooled chiller plants, Variable Refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, Direct Expansion (DX) systems, etc.
  • We calculate ventilation requirements, pressurization needs, smoke management systems, pump head calculations, external static pressure, and sizing ducts and pipes.
Firefighting Systems Design/BIM:

We design fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and hydrants, according to national and international codes.

  • We perform hydraulic calculations for sprinkler systems, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with safety standards.
  • We design and layout fire detection and alarm systems, ensuring integration with other building services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years experience in Plumbing/HVAC & Firefighting is needed.
