As a member of our esteemed STEM Faculty, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to shaping the educational landscape by designing and delivering high-quality capacity-building programs for teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Training
  • Develop and conduct workshops and courses on progressive pedagogical methods for teachers in STEM.
  • Prepare program plans and provide inputs for academic calendars to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Coordinate with subject teams to plan and execute STEM programs.
  • Analyze feedback from training programs and incorporate it into subsequent trainings.
Content Development
  • Develop detailed program frameworks, teaching plans, and workshop modules based on relevant national and international reference material.
  • Design program materials for short-term and intensive courses.
  • Strengthen the Resource Centre by developing subject-specific resource material, including teacher manuals, interactive models, and reference materials.
Research and Development
  • Conduct research-based content development to achieve workshop goals and objectives.
  • Regularly conduct training need assessments, baseline, and end-line assessments to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Conceptualize, design, and conduct research studies to enhance program quality and effectiveness.
School Visits and Direct Intervention
  • Regularly observe classroom sessions to understand program impact.
  • Plan and provide on-site support to selected teachers in schools.
  • Engage with cohorts of teachers to understand factors required for effective change in teaching practices.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Document and report progress on allocated tasks.
  • Prepare and submit training reports, classroom observation reports, and other relevant documents.
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education.
  • M.Sc. (Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry), B.Ed or an equivalent degree.
