Program Lead for STEM Education

The ideal candidate will develop and deliver high-quality workshops and courses for teachers in STEM subjects, utilising progressive pedagogical methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed program frameworks, teaching plans, and workshop modules based on a background study of relevant national and international reference materials.
  • Enhance the Resource Centre by developing subject-specific resource material, including teacher manuals, interactive models, TLM, reference materials, assessment tools, etc.
  • Conduct training need assessments, baseline and end-line evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the programs.
  • Conceptualise, design and conduct research studies on regular basis, exploring the latest methodologies, resources and approaches in education and expertise areas.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education.
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, B.Ed or equivalent qualification.

Candidate Profile:

  • Able to work with educators to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
