About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead our HVAC projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, technical engineering, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Project Initiation: Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and Bill of Quantities to ensure project feasibility and alignment with company goals.
• Scheduling and Planning: Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely completion, considering factors like resource allocation, dependencies, and potential risks.
• Material Submittals and Shop Drawings: Prepare material submittals per project specifications, develop HVAC shop drawings, and secure consultant approvals to ensure compliance and quality.
• Equipment Selection and Procurement: Conduct technical selection of HVAC equipment and comparative analysis of supplier quotes to identify the best options for the project.
• Critical Calculations: Perform critical HVAC calculations, including heat load, external static pressure, and pump head assessments to ensure system efficiency and performance.
• Resource Optimization: Optimize personnel and technological resources for efficient execution, considering factors like skill sets, workload, and project requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality plans, budgets, and industry standards during execution, maintaining high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
• System Design and Installation: Supervise design, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Method Statements and Risk Assessments: Prepare method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards and ensure safe working practices.
• Installation and Commissioning Procedures: Validate installation and commissioning procedures for compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Scope Changes and Variations: Manage variations related to scope changes with proper documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate across HVAC, electrical, and architectural disciplines for seamless execution, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members.
• Technical Support and Problem-Solving: Handle inspection requests, RFIs, and technical submissions, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills in liaising with stakeholders.
• Professional Development: Hold a professional license registered with CRPEP Bahrain, reflecting the importance of ongoing learning and certification in the field.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong Technical Background: Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, principles, and technologies, including designing, installing, testing, and commissioning.
