Job Title: Network Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement network security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Manage firewall and NIPS solutions, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to prevent unauthorized access and maintain system integrity.
  • Utilize expertise in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments to commission and implement various firewall and NIPS solutions, ensuring seamless integration with management and authentication authorization tools (email, AD, IAM, SIEM).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage policies and exceptions, perform packet capture and analysis, and troubleshoot tools to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge of firewalls, NIPS, SSL, routing protocols, dual-factor authentication, and other relevant technologies to provide cutting-edge security solutions.
  • Conduct daily performance checks on devices, periodic audits, and compliance checks to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to layers 1, 2, and 3 of the OSI Model, applying security patches as required to maintain a secure environment.
Requirements:
  • CCNP Routing & Switching and CCNP Security certifications or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10-12 years' experience in network security, with 5+ years in Fortinet/Cisco Firewalls and IPS.
  • Proficiency in managing firewall and NIPS solutions, with hands-on experience in commissioning and implementing various solutions.
  • Strong background in working with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments, integrating with management and authentication authorization tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with users, stakeholders, and teams.
