Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and manage secure network infrastructure.

This role requires expertise in Fortinet FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), including advanced threat protection and VPN services, as well as strong proficiency in configuring and managing Citrix NetScaler (ADC) load balancers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain FortiGate firewalls, including NGFW features: IPS, application control, web filtering, antivirus, etc.
  • IPsec and SSL VPN tunnels for site-to-site and remote access
  • High Availability (HA) clustering and health checks
  • Firewall rules, NAT, routing, and segmentation policies
  • Manage and optimize Citrix NetScaler (ADC) appliances for load balancing of web and application services, SSL offloading, certificate installation, and renewal, content switching, rewrite/responder policies, and access control
  • Monitor and troubleshoot firewall and NetScaler performance, logs, and alerts
  • Perform regular security rule reviews, software upgrades, and vulnerability remediation
  • Assist with incident response and forensic analysis involving firewall and NetScaler traffic
  • Document configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to enforce security standards and support project needs

The ideal candidate will have a strong operational mindset with a focus on availability, performance, and security. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with 5-8 years of experience in network security engineering roles. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and access control concepts is necessary. Experience managing security logs and events, and familiarity with SIEM workflows are also desirable.
