Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cost Management Professional to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To collect, analyze and report on cost accounting data including production costs, labor, raw materials, overheads and other operational expenses.
  • Inventory valuation and costing processes.
  • Maintenance of costing and pricing module in the system.
  • Generation of price lists on a quarterly basis.
  • To prepare and maintain standard cost reports, conduct variance analysis and identify discrepancies.
  • To generate periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) cost forecasts and budgeting reports for the company and individual departments/business units.
  • To review plant and subsidiary management information systems.
  • Analyzing and reporting on profit margins for various products.
  • Product costing of new formulations and updating of existing ones in a timely manner.
  • Review of costs and assist the business development team for price revision in a timely manner.
  • Research and analyze material costs, production processes, and operational expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Continuously monitor and improve accounting processes and systems to streamline and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and detailed reports as required by management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation of cost calculations, and implementation of tools to streamline cost reporting procedures.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, cost optimization strategies, and advanced cost accounting methodologies.
  • Assist with financial analysis and forecasting for new projects, investments, or business opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) or pursuing Cost & Management Accountant (CMA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
